Great place. Didn’t even know it existed. Tasty food, perfect bacon and eggs and a BLT. Muffin was as expected.. Bloody good! But this is where I give it five stars (truth be told I would have given it 5 stars anyways)… Hands full with the little one and accidentally spilt my coffee ,which was really good too. bugga….. Not only did the waitress come over to help clean up and make sure everyone’s ok but she offered to get me another coffee, I politely declined… Wasn’t her fault. So the little one and I head outside to chase the chooks, come back in as our food was on the table and low and behold…. Another coffee, on the house too!!! I know how much a coffee costs and it comes directly out of their profits but that was awesome.so to the lovely lady at the counter, I owe you … Will definitely be back .so all in all, it’s a hidden gem in my opinion, good food, good coffee but more importantly in my books, genuinely nice people .
Great little cafe. We enjoyed a family brunch on St. Patricks day for 6 adults and 3 children. Food was really good. Eggs Benedict was voted almost the best ever eaten. Children’s food well received especially the “icecreams in a cup”. Staff helpful and pleasant and wait for food not too long given it was a wet day and the cafe was full. Price for food excellent.
Will definitely be going back to this one.
A very busy little cafe. Difficult parking, but beautiful eggs benedict! Lovely outdoor seating area, complete with ducks. For pictures, see my post at http://celestereviews….
I live nearby to Amy’s Kitchen and frequent there often. They use Burtons coffee – a perfect pick me up for the long drive to work. Amy also makes great vanilla slice – perhaps the best in the world – oh and the peppermint slice and ginger crunch aren’t to be passed by either. All in all a great little place in a great setting.
Great location (although the entrance can be a little intimidating for some). Waiting staff are very kind and welcoming.
Food is great, tasty, arrives quickly and presented nicely. Although, the mushrooms on toast is terrible and should-be avoided – very different than most other restaurants.
The coffee is okay – not something to call home about.
Definitely a place to regular – great prices and great location (eating outside amongst the ducks and trees if fabulous) makes up for the not-so great coffee.
A very nice and quiet place, scenery was beautiful. However it seems that was all – coffee did arrive longer than expected, and the food was prepared close to poor. The price was reasonable to above average. But, staff was nice and welcoming.
