This place has been described as a gem!!!?

Why? I’m not to sure as the food is just OK, service average, portions are very small even if they call them a wappa.

Now they microwaved my bread!!!!!!!!! Sorry I might look a bit rough but I expect better food than I can cook myself at home when I’m eating out. I am also a local been here for over 20 years. Never have returned and won’t be.

Despite being a local, I only recently discovered this restaurant..but oh what a gem. I enjoyed a lovely lunch there with family visiting from the UK. Food was innovative and tasty. The wines were very good and service superb. The setting is peaceful and you can easily imagine you are in the countryside. I definitely recommend!

My and the wife’s favourtie place. Staff always friendly and the food is excellent. Kinross the chef is clever and innovative with the produce from the farmers market (held every Saturday) and always delivers outstanding specials at the weekend to supplement the regular menu. Reasonably priced and a quality selection of a la maison wines (try the ’09 Sauvignon Blanc – classic) – cannot recommend highly enough. Giveit a try – you won’t be disappointed.
