A great little takeaway place and perfectly located. Directly across the road from the beach it gives you options.

I phone ordered and the takeaways were ready in a very timely fashion. I cant complain at all.

New owners which I can say is a very good thing and I am pleased they are back on track with regular hours.

If you are out that way, its definitely the place to go.

A great local takeaway, with an excellent range of tasty, healthy large burgers at bargain prices. Excellent fish too – fresh, not frozen, not shark, often with a selection available. Best of all, the fish is perfectly cooked every time – with a crisp tasty batter & lightly cooked flesh. Minimum order of chips is $2.50, and that’s plenty for 2 or 3 people. (I suspect the negative review below concerning this is fraudulent, or they are gluttons). Since discovering it, my son & I eat from there at least weekly. Super friendly young couple run it, really good people. Phone your order in & pick up 10 minutes later.

excellent quality of food.cooked in quality oil.great service from their friendly workers.prompt preparation time.a substantial menu that they are happy to customise and add things too.i would highly reccomend this place to anybody

Excellent! The absolute best fish & chip takeaway in Auckland. Cant beat the top quality and delicious food at great prices. Unbeatable service too! Two thumbs up from me..cant wait till my next visit!

Hmmm. New owners and the portion sizes have gone down dramatically. $4 chips used to be plenty, now barely enough for 3 children, let alone 2 adults. Batter not as good either, and tonight when I gave them another try, the oil was obviously very old, chips were dark brown and soggy.

Whey, it’s git cannay as owt. Wor brotha in law telt us about this canny takeway and heis reet. Its summa the best scran that I’v ever had. Its better evan than the chippy in the Bigg Market in the toon. This Geordie is ganna keep eatin hear when I’m on my hols.
