I’m not one to usually write reviews but I believe that our experience at Cafe Cesar definately justifies it. Myself and three work coleagues stumbled upon the cafe while driving through Manuka Shopping Centre. I ordered first and went for the Cajun Chicken Burger and fries which on the menu sounded amazing! When the burger turned up it was no bigger than a large muffin and fries where completely white, almost see-through raw. On inspecting the burger i noticed that some of the key ingredients promised on the menu were missing, namely avocado and cheese. I took the meal back and asked for the ingredients in my burger to which the man behind the counter ran off and came back 5 minutes later with a plate of sliced avocado. I then asked again for the cheese and was given a few slices of extremely cold processed cheese on a plate. Once I had all the ingredients i went back to put my burger together and discovered i had only 3 50 cent sized pieces of chicken in my burger! Ate about half the burger and none of the chips. I thought this may be a one off but all three of my colleages meals turned up in a similar state! Never eat at cafe cesar!!!!!!!!! It is terrible

went for lunch the other day while we were in Manukau CBD. The place is quite spacious and we tried cajun chicken salad and scallop, very generous serving which made us feel pretty full and the quality was good especailly when considering the money we pay. I didn’t have coffee but my wife had a latte and she thought it was great. Overall, very good place for a quick lunch and good value for money!
