Hi
Four of us went last night, and had the 6 course degustation.
Delicious food, and beautifully presented. The staff were really attentive, and advised us that this was Vietnamese food with a French influence. So pleased we experienced it – flavours I’ve never tried before.
Thanks for an awesome night.

Dined here on Thursday, May 16. The food was so beautifully presented and superb. It was a special occasion with my 2 sisters so we had the degustation menu, and could not fault it.
A couple of gripes, as it was very noisy for a small restaurant which seats 30 due to the lack of soft furnishings to absorb the noise. So often these days that spoils the ambiance for those of us in our fifties. We have the desire and can afford to eat out often, but like to have a conversation as well.
Biggest gripe though was when we went to pay the bill and were charged $10 a bottle for still water and we had had 2! We were asked if we would like still or sparkling water when we were seated and asked for still assuming it would be tap water. Alas, obviously not. We should have been made aware, especially as they have gone to so much trouble to present and prepare the food so exquisitely, and the wine is not cheap at minimum of $46 a bottle of red.
Make up your own mind. Would be very wary of any restaurant offering water in future and felt disappointed but did not want to make a fuss on a special occasion.

Fine dining at its best!
Had the 6 course degustation menu – the blend of asian and european flavors was exquisite.

Minor faults like the pear was a bit bland for my liking but these can be overlooked for all the amazing dishes. The panna cotta with the citrus sorbe is to die for!! The portion sizes are also quite generous.

The staff were very attentive. My only concern was the atmosphere, which I suppose will develop since it is just a start-up.

I love that there is somewhere like this which is local as we are so lacking in good choices! We went for dinner last Saturday night and had the six-course tasting menu. We also opted for the matching wine with each course ($55 per person) and truly have never enjoyed the wines presented with a degustation menu so much, just amazing, as was the food. Our only tiny quibble, and hence the four stars, is the atmosphere. It’s clean and neutral and tasteful, but was rather cold and stark and the lights were turned up very bright. I feel uncharitable saying it because a new restaurant has to bear all the start-up costs and fitout may not be the top priority, but when we are spending the fine-dining price of $300 for two (which we would have without the voucher) we do factor atmosphere into the decision where to go. I HOPE they continue to do really well then make it a bit more comfortable and “cosier”. The staff were absolutely lovely and attentive and I agree with the other reviewers that the food was gorgeous. Overall a really great experience and recommended.

A friend and I visited Coco for dinner on Anzac Day. We had a voucher for the 6 course degustation. It is more expensive than places I would usually go, however this is definitely a case of paying for what you get.

The food and service were top-notch. The service was attentive, without being intrusive, and the staff were knowledgeable and helpful. The atmosphere was relaxed and intimate. To start, we were offered a complimentary tofu dish. That, and all six of the dishes that followed, were beautifully presented and packed full of complex but balanced flavours and textures. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back just for the peach dessert!

I recommend the degustation at Coco for that special occasion… or just a lovely night out.

I agree with Michelle M’s review – the staff are wonderful and the food is outstanding. A little more pricey than we would normally pay for a suburban restaurant – but well worth it – the finest tasting food I have had in a long time. Very much recommend Coco. Thanks for a great evening.

This restaurant has just opened and we went on a Wednesday night so there were only two tables seated, so i’m writing this review to try and get more people interested as the food was fantastic – I’d call it European fine dining with a Vietnamese twist. We had the rice paper rolls as shared entree, then the duck and pork belly for mains, and the peach and pannacotta desserts. We especially loved the desserts and the staff/service were excellent as well. Definitely recommend.
