Reviews for Coffee Station

I purchased a Groupon voucher for two and took it in to use and I was absolutley shocked by the terrible customer service I received. The person over the counter saw I had the voucher and explained they are out of eggs and all ingredients for the week!!! Wtf. He apologized saying he was embarrassed about it but suggested I return in a weeks time which is when the voucher expires!! Unbelievable I have worked and managed front line service for over 20years and traveled the world and that level of customer service at the coffee station was the worst I've seen ! If there was any truth to this idiot's story why didn't he send someone down the road to the local new world to grab some eggs and bacon! It was clear discrimination because I had a voucher! I feel completely ripped off never purchasing a voucher online again and will certainly be broadcasting via social media and will contact the local paper about this joke of a cafe, complete scam!! Called back to speak to the owner or manager and no answer for two days!! I give up.. One Very disappointed customer.

I should have known better than to order from a cafe that was empty nestled between busy cafes at 12pm on a sunny Wednesday. My instinct was to wait for a table at the buzzing Dida's next door. Sometimes your instinct is wrong. This was not one of those times.
I ordered the 'Seasonal Fruit Salad', for which I paid $11.50. My mouth was watering imagining some fresh summer fruit - melons, strawberries, mango etc. - but much to my disappointment, the plate arrived with a skimpy offering of Meadow Fresh yoghurt accompanied by chopped overripe banana, kiwifruit, pear, apple, and a measly two strawberries. My soy flat white was very average, and not worth the $4.50 I paid for it.
Overall a very forgettable experience, and $15.00 I will never get back. I guess I'll trust my instincts next time.

Came here for brunch on a Saturday and it was overall a forgettable experience. Coffee was very average and although the salmon eggs benedict came with a generous serving of salmon, the sauce was average and eggs slightly overcooked. My partner however recommends the seafood pasta. I guess what contributed to the let-down was their evident selective friendly service to different patrons. Maybe we were being discriminated against for coming in with a voucher? This was very disappointing as those vouchers are meant to encourage repeat visits and recommendations. I suppose I shouldn't have expected much from a cafe being run by pretentious young adults.

Had a lovely morning here with the family enjoying breakfast. The kids ordered the big breakfast and enjoyed it. We ordered the pancakes. The ambience is great, the staff great and helpful. The only criticism I would have to say is that I think our pancakes were from a box and not freshly made, I probably should have ordered something else. Other than that, it is a lovely cafe, and I would go back again but would choose something else from the menu :)

Bang on best food and coffee on Jervois Rd. Food was made with serious care and coffee was not a secondary product. Coffee Lab which means it's definitely Specialty coffee with serious barista. Not the generic ones like next doors. Kitchen food is of high standard and cabinet food is just as nice. Must try sweet stuff as well like their cakes. All made fresh!

Have been a regular customer since launch. Perfect coffee by far best in the area. So much love has gone into the baked goods and the meals are to DIE for! The staff are friendly and humble and always welcoming.
Forget the big names on Jervois Road that treat you like just another latte... Coffee Station is the place to be!

We had breakfast here on St Patricks day. We had flat whites and cappucchinos, which were hot, creamy and perfect.
Followed by eggs bene with bacon, mince on toast with extra poached eggs and junior big breakfast. All were delivered promptly, hot and excellent. My daughter said her sausage was the best she had ever tasted. Be warned tho - that junior breakfast is quite a feast, my 11yr old struggled to finish it. All in all, a great place for breakfast.

Partner had purchased a voucher deal and took the teens to brekkie...came back raving about it. We then went back just the two of us and it was absolutely delicious, highly recommend big brekkie....loved it so much off to catch up with a girlfriend there this morning. Great service, friendly staff!!

Formerly Gannet Rock. A nice fresh new interior design, much better than the old place.
My meals have all been beautifully plated and the coffee is really strong and well-made. Love the old-fashioned tourist souvenir spoons and jaffas served with the coffee!
Have tried most of the vegetarian options and they were all very good and a nice generous size. The home-cooked slices and cakes are excellent too. Thoroughly recommended!

Came to Coffee Station couple weeks ago on Sunday (the 16th of Dec) with my partners. Was very busy, and staff was very friendly, made us feel very welcome. We ordered two flat whites which was amazing. Ordered two meals, was very tasty and good size. Highly recommend the french toast and Salmon Eggs Benedict. Will definitely come back again.

We had a brunch last weekend. The service was good, coffees nicely made and meals were very nice and a good size. Parking no problems. Staff friendly. Average decor. I would eat here again. Recommend the french toast and big breakfast.

We went for brunch this Sunday and ordered 2 flat whites, french toast and bagel with cream, salmon and avocado. The coffees took about 15 minutes and they were below average. People who came in after us were served their food and even left before we got ours. The waiter's explanation was that the chef decides in which order to cook and serve the food. This is absolutely rude! The bagel was definitely not worth $14 for 2 small pieces of salmon, one bagel and half an avocado! The bacon on the French toast was not crispy at all, more like boiled, which tells us that they don't use good quality bacon. For $17, we were definitely expecting more. We will never go back, very disappointing.
