The cajun pizza is sheer quality – layered beautifully and just a pleasure to eat. The best pizza I have had ever from a pizza place. My wife loves the hawaiian too – not as great as the cajun in my opinion but she gave it a BIG thumbs up

The Pizza here is EXCELLENT. It tastes great, none of the oily aftertaste you get from the main pizza chains.
We tried the:
Gluten Free Hawaiian – 9/10
Upper Crust Moroccan Lamb – 8.5/10
Vegetarian Roasted Kumera – 9/10
Healthier Choice Avocado Chicken – 10/10
The star was the Avocado Chicken, it really was an excellent pizza, but they were all really tasty anyway.
Obviously this is a lot more expensive than your standard pizza place (the 4 pizzas above cost just over $80), but it is worth it.
Only issue (and why they are 4 not 5 stars) is the stated delivery time (of 1 hour) was woefully out – we finally got our pizzas over 1 1/2 hours later… I assume it was a busy night, but I always prefer someone being honest when I order so we know where we stand. Telling the kids pizza will be here in 5 minutes and still waiting 35 minutes later is a pain!
We will be ordering again. Hopefully this slow delivery was a one-off, and if it is I’ll update this review to reflect that.

Deeeeeeelicious!!!
Got a voucher from a deal site as you do and thought we would try it out.
We had the Meatball and BBQ Chicken pizzas plus some Herb and Garlic Squares let me just say wow!! I’m pretty close to leaning towards saying this may be one of the best pizza places in Auckland.
The service was fantastic even though we changed our pick up time twice. The order was pretty much ready when we got there. Pizzas were not greasy, the flavours were fantastic, Garlic bread was huge almost the size of the large pizza, what more could anyone ask for.
One key element is probably holding this place back, is that there is no wood-fire oven. If there was there would be no stopping this place!! Great food and superb experience!
Cheers guys can’t wait to come back!

The pizza here was divine, and I especially loved the pesto-style aioli on top. The toppings were generous and really had the melt-in-your-mouth thing going on.
By the time I got to the end of it, I was finding the artichoke was started to over-power my palate… but that’ll probably teach me for scoffing the entire pizza in one sitting! The other topping were things like grilled eggplant, roasted capsicum, mushrooms, sundried tomatoes & ‘baby’ spinach. YUM!!! (It was a vegetarian supreme).
I preordered by phone, so it was all ready to go when I got there. So 10 points for efficiency… and for $15 I thought it was an excellent quality pizza. Very happy… and will eat here again, for sure.

I do agree that the Cajun chicken is nice.. but for the price you pay for it, I believe a Brimstone from Hell’s pizza with a lashing of Chilli would beat it hands down. And would come a couple of gold coins cheaper as well. Just saying..
The establishment has a nice website. Easy to navigate. Shows delightful pics of the pizzas on offer.
$24 for a large pizza here is equivalent to $24 for a jumbo pizza at Pakuranga Pizza Company.
Let me put it this way.. Pakuranga pizza is the Bolt compared to the Powell which is Crust. Always there… But never quite.
I would then deem the Parnell pizza from La Porchetta as the Blake of pizzas I have tried.
1st … 2nd… and a dnf….(crust)
And sadly their phone manners are lacking. Made me feel very foolish indeed whilst placing an order. Not cool at all.. But don’t worry…
I never allow feelings to cloud my judgement… I rate solely on the cuisine…The price… and the lack of cuisine for the price dictated.
Hmmm’s I say…
My 1st low rating… Feel bad for doing so.. But honesty is paramount.
