We dined there for our first wedding anniversary and it was fabulous!! One of the best meals we have ever had.
Service was good, very attentive stuff, very polite and helpful. We personally thought the place needed a decor makeover, but we couldn’t fault anything else. We will definitely be going there again soon!!

We dined here for our Wedding Anniversary last week:started with the artisan and dips- very tasty, followed by mains of Silere lamb duo which was superb and my wife had Medallion of King Fish. Being a fish lover but not eaten King fish before this was very tasty and would certainly have on another occasion. Service was great staff were attentive without being over bearing and food very well presented. We took our own wine and at $6 per bottle corkage thought this very good. The wine list did look very impressive though. If you are looking for fine dining and quiet night out would certainly recommend Dejeuner.

We went there recently for a special anniversary dinner. We have been to this restaurant many times over the years and have always had a decent meal. In fact the food was better than ever that night.
We had all the courses and never had to wait an uncomfortably long time between them. The service was efficient and friendly and the wine was always poured for us despite being in a wine bucket on our table where we might have been left to help ourselves. I even enjoyed the coffee and I’m pretty picky about that, so often coffee can be disappointing. Most of the tables around us filled while we were there but the atmosphere was calm and relaxing as was the background music.
We are from Feilding which has no comparable evening restaurants but we are quite prepared to travel in for a much better dining experience

Had dinner there in Dec, great service, however, the waitress didn’t seem to know the difference between cuts of meat. The meals were fanastic.

My wife & I dined there for our 1st Wedding anniversary, I mentioned this when I booked so we we seated in the private room, decor, ambiance & staff – really nice, pricing is very reasonable too. We had a seafood platter between us which was delicious, I had the Prime steak & my wife had the duck, both cooked perfectly,
Regrettably we were too full for dessert so it gives us an excuse to go back !
I don’t often rate things perfectly so giving Dejeuner a perfect score says it all.
We’d recommend it as one of the top restaurants in Palmy.

Our table of four could find no fault with either the food or service. My fish dish was cooked to perfection. I’m not a fan of stacking food so this would be my only negative and I would like to see an excellent restaurant like this break free from the food stacking fashion police and try flat plating.

We went in for a Saturday night birthday dinner for five and every aspect of the night was wonderful. Wonderfully presented, delicious food and the staff were so friendly, even took some photos for us. Overall exceptional experience and will highly recommend to others

A great evening at Dejeuner! Had a family dinner for 9 and took advantage of the private room which was nice space. Menu had great choices – we had just about one of everything between us and everyone was really happy with their meals. Certainly recommend as a satisfying night out. Thanks.

The whole dining experience at Dejeuner was excellent. We were a party of 14 and I appreciated discussing menu options with Jason prior to the evening. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly and professionally, all of the menu options were beautifully presented, cooked as the menu described and servings were generous. We look forward to returning to Dejeuner in the future.

Great place. Wonderful friendly staff topped of with well presented and delicious food. Would definitely recommend.

Was there on Saturday just past with friends.
Was told new menu.
Wow! What a restaurant. Yummy venison hot pot and the Coq Au Vin is rich and tasty.
As my French mate puts it “next best to his mum’s”

Interesting place. Waitress / Owner was very pleasent and chatty.
Breads to start were delicious, main menu looked good, good number of choices and specials for the day.
We both had fish, which was nice but ruined by a bizarre tasteless greasy avocado “salsa” – really needed some spice, and the yams were too sweet for the fish dish.
Menu prices were good, although we werent drinking the wine list looked reasonable too.
Fries were great though!
Nice intimate place. In the hour we were in they turned about about 6 people who walked in looking for a table, so would pay to book!

A lovely quiet place to take you’re partner for a romantic dinner with fine food, the best service and cosy atmosphere. One of the best restaurants in the city!

Top notch. Best duck.

We have frequently dined at this restaurant and the food is consistently top quality, as is the service.
