Dinning at Houhora Tavern offers you relaxing harbour views, beautiful wild bird life and if you are lucky at full tide mullet are seen jumping close to shore. Our dinning room takes on a Nautical theme and on display for viewing is our salt water aquarium. We own New Zealand’s most Northern pub which attracts people from all over the world, most of these people, just wish to relax over a cup of freshly brewed coffee and read a book, our dinning room welcomes all who visit, it is not restricted to dinning only. We now provide Gluten free meals, light snacks and other for those who require this option. When visiting us please make this known to staff.
