Great service, beautiful ambiance and excellent food. Will definitely be back. Never visited a Greek restaurant before, but what a pleasant surprise. Such amazing and different flavors with the perfect match of a beautiful wine.

Strongly moved by previous positive comments here, we decided to give it a try at this European style restaurant, which we normally do not visit too often.
We are greeted by a wait staff at the entrance and expected we would be able to spoil ourselves at the nice Parnell area.
Food itself was something we enjoyed with good presentation.
The steak was a bit overcooked. Wanted to something medium rare though. Apart from that, it was perfect. Especially the taste and timing of the coffee was great!
The interior was something that made us at home with assurance that we did not regret choosing this place while well looked after. The one major thing the restaurant may be worth considering is that the premise is well heated in order for the diners to feel a little chilly even in the sunny day.
We think it is worth inviting our mates to try this new eating experience with a good atmosphere. We shall see in a few weeks time when we crave for something different from what we eat again.

I can’t believe the other reviews are for the same restaurant!
On arrival the maitre de got up from an outside table where he’d been chatting with friends. No suggestion as to where we should sit. He gave us the menus then went back out the front with friends for a smoke and came back in smelling of cigarettes. Not very appetizing
We ordered the mezze platter to start and mixed grill for main to share. Food was very average at best and bland. Bread was burnt. We can cook far nicer at home with a much better ambiance. We ended up getting our main to go to do just that.
Avoid this place!

We dined here for the first time and enjoyed a very good meal. The Mezze Platter was very good, and our mains (both chicken dishes) were scrumptious. What more can I say? Great service, great food, friendly staff and nice ambience.

We have been to the Maraetai Med Kitchen in the past and have also visited the Parnell Med Kitchen a few times recently. We have always been very happy with the lovely food and great, friendly service. I have sampled a few dishes from their menu and have never been disappointed. The Moussaka is wonderful! Keep up the great work – we will be back.

Friendly, welcoming, and warm atmosphere. Great staff, yummy food, served Oyster Bay Chardonnay wine with our lovely lunch today. Highly recommended. The lamb salad was delicious and I am looking forward to returning!
