Left a little flat.Surprised at the ratings.
by Clarkie 14th June 2011: Absolutely fabulous. Four of us had dinner & had a wonderful night. The owners are very passionate about what they have created & the atmosphere was very welcoming. The food was exquisite & well timed. It was the little extras between courses that make you want to return. The wine list was very comprehensive & had some great local wines that you won’t find in the supermarket or wine shop – only from the vineyard. We will return.
by Jude E. 2nd September 2010: Had a lovely romantic dinner for 2 at Mint on a Wednesday night. Great, attentive service without being over-bearing. Food was fantastic!
As a Coeliac diner it was great to be able to choose almost anything and have it adapted so willingly and well.
Thanks, will definitely eat there again.

by Davke 16th July 2010: Well it was pretty average overall. Service was ok but unengaged. My wine glass was quite badly smeared. My big thing was the food, it read fairly well on the menu, but was overall poorly executed. More attention to seasoning and my dish was quite cold. I’m in Nelson quite often for business, so I will be back to witness some improvement hopefully.
