PERI-PERI AFRICAN ROOTS
The Nandos tradition of good food and passion for life is inspired by our Portuguese forefathers, who explored exciting new lands in the 5th century. It was in the rich soils and intense heat of Southern Africa that they discovered the African Birds Eye Chilli, known as Peri-Peri in the African language of Swahli. This fiery little chilli, combined with special herbs and spices, lemon and a touch of garlic are the ingredients that give Nando’s Original Peri-Peri its unique flavour.

Reviews for Nando’s Peri Peri Restaurants

Went to the Mt Eden branch. Their prices are very high and the food small servings.
My burger had a bun that was too crunchy and hard, the chips were a small size and it cost $20!
Next time I’m going next door to Burger Fuel. Was I paying more for halal? I hope not cause that isn’t something I need. It came to $38 for 2 meals and cokes. Not good value for money. It is a casual eatery. Won’t be returning.

Just wanted to share whenever you order your meal at Nandos please be clear when placing your order as the staff at Dominion Road branch lacks to understand English properly, they mess up with your order and then blames you for their own mistake that you (customer didn’t order your meal correctly) and the worst part is they don’t replace the wrong order and find pleasure in arguing with the customer. How embarrassing for the customer and for other customers who are dining.
