Came here after work and was pleasantly surprised that they had $9 cocktails on a Wednesday. The service was efficient and friendly even though they were busy. It seemed to be a popular spot for after work drinks. The interior was funky and the place had a lively atmosphere to it. The cocktails tasted great and while we didn’t have any of the food the menu was tempting!

The Putanesa salad (spelling?) is gooood. The mix of flavoursome tomatoes with buffalo mozzarella and tangy things like capers, olives, basil and rocket leaves is yum. I’ve been here a number of times, including a birthday function at a long table set down the back of the place for us (near the cool and slightly crazy kindling scultpure tree thing), and wait-staff were friendly and pretty efficient… and the atmosphere awesome. There’s a great range on the menu, with my gluten-free sister able to find something yum as well. Definitely a great venue for tasty food and a happening vibe.

Dropped into the Macs bar after work on Thursday night. It was fairly busy and they had a guy playing on a guitar, I was very happy to see that they now have pizzas. Although they only seemed to have a few available, the waiter said there will be more available next month. Make sure you try them out.

Regarding food, Nuffield has had its ups and downs depending on who they employed in the kitchen. After being served soggy chips last time, I was hesitant to try their new menu. We had spiced fish tortilla and venison shank. What a surprise! The food was well presented, the portions generous and the taste absolutely delicious.

I went to Nuffield St Trading Co. Brewbar last night with a few friends. The interior design of the place is pretty cool and the staff were friendly. I ordered the Indonesian BBQ Chicken Burger
with mango salsa and fries. The dish tasted pretty good and the mango salsa was a pleasant surprise. We found it a bit funny that the food were all served on Chinese plates.
It was easy to find free parking nearby as it was a Sunday night.

Took a group there. Service & food was good. I ordered the classic fish and chips. The fish tasted fresh and chips were just right.

Went to Mac’s Nuffield St Brewbar with a group of people for my partner’s sister’s birthday. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere, the food and the service were great.
I had the “Open Sandwich” which was pretty good.
