I went to try Piccoli Piatti with 3 girlfriends and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. We all enjoyed the food and sharing the small (and big) plates. The atmosphere was lovely and we had a great table outside and service was very good.
We were very surprised by the lovely mor products in the bathroom.. A lovely touch.
Will be back, and not just for the hand cream!
Starting with the Anchovis and ending with the Osso Bucco over a few bottles of wine, it made for a great night.
Service was good on what was a very quite Saturday night and while little has changed since it was the HBL. It has been freshen-up.
Would be a great place for a beer and small plate on a Sunday afternoon.

Wonderful newly renovated space with very friendly, knowledgeable staff. We have been twice and will definitely be going again. The food is fresh and really tasty. It was a great new dining experience at Piccoli Piatti.
We have been twice now and love this restaurant. It has been very stylishly renovated, the food is great and the staff are friendly and attentive. I love the small plates concept – there is something to suit everyone. We will definitely be back. It is a great addition to this strip of Jervois Rd.
We are locals and went down on opening night for a few tasting plates and drinks.
We’ve been back three nights since. The food is excellent, tasty fresh and reasonably priced.
The space has been beautifully renovated and opened up from the last bar on that site.

Me my partner went for dinner the day after the opening, we both italian and work in the hospitality. We where expecting bit better at the average. Well that’s not what i call modern italian cuisine, for me is a european cafe style food. Many people don’t understand what modern italian cuisine mean (a fusion of italian regional dish with a modern view of presentation), not a fusion confusion! Surely the chef its not italian or if is he must be trained outside Italy. Also the tortellini pasta looked more like a wonton shape, the ossobuco where too watery and the gremolada wasn’t as such.
