Came here for dinner with our indoor netball team 15/1/13. There were 9 of us. Service was a little on the slow side in between courses but on a whole the experience was great.
Had a fabulous dinner. The $30 dinner deal was wonderful and we were very impressed with all of our meals. Would definitely visit again.

Came here for a work do – very disappointing. Bar staff were woefully unable to cope with multiple orders – asked for a G and T and was met with blank looks then offered a ginger beer!
Big group was served very slowly with over a half hour difference between some people receiving mains – with staff unable to give estimates and seemingly unaware that some people hadn’t been served, while they were clearing. Might be OK if a small group but I would not recommend having a function here. Food was OK, but not brilliant.

The food was very bland, and the Baklava I had for dessert tasted like it had seen too many days in the fridge. The waitress was lovely but a guy (who I assume was the owner) seemed very grumpy and this brought the whole atmosphere down.
If you are looking for a reasonably priced convenient meal in Newmarket then this place is okay, but if you are fussy about good food like I am, then give it a miss.

We had a terrific dinner two weeks ago. The $30 special was a really good deal – the 6 of us chose a variety of starters and desserts to share, and all were delicious. We all had different mains and were thoroughly pleased with our selections. Would definitely return, and in fact am taking my workmates there shortly.

Nice place to dine. Nothing overly special I can say about it. Staff were friendly enough, no real effort to build a rapport with us, but were never rude. Had a special going which was a entree and main or main and dessert for $30. I chose the snapper for my main which came only on mashed potato with no recommendations of needing side dishes such as salad or vegetables. Overall a mediocre experience.
