I was very disappointed with my visit to Sierra today, both food and service. I ordered my breakfast and the bagel was served to me very burnt. I approached the counter and explained that my meal was burnt and the server disagreed even though the bagel was charcoal! I asked for my money back and left – will not be returning here again.

I regularly have coffee here. I find it efficient, friendly and has good food too. I like the back courtyard too on a fine day.

So disappointed with this place today. Apparently they have changed ownership and are no longer honouring The Entertainment book vouchers. The girl at the counter was lovely but that is as far as the good service went. My butter was dodgy so I took it back and had another packet unceremoniously stuffed in my hand, without a comment let alone an apology.
The food wasn’t great. Two pieces of bacon cooked together so they were crispy on one side and soggy on the other, undercooked poached eggs, sandwich bread toasted instead of the usual ciabatta. As we left we walked passed the kitchen, full of people and not one said thanks.
If these were the new owners I can’t see the place continuing to do well with that service and food.
