Wow! Best curry I’ve had outside of London, and BYOB, what more can you ask for?
Went here with my girlfriend and we both of us left thoroughly impressed and satisfied.
Had the mixed grill and paneer for starter. Everything on the grill cooked to perfection and a good portion size. The paneer sauce had a good kick to it (maybe not for the faint hearted).
Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Madras for main- both exactly as we hoped. Tikka Masala rich and creamy and the Madras was nice and spicy.
Garlic naan also exactly as you’d want it.
What more can I say? Flawless meal and very friendly owners.
A bit out the way, but of you’re looking for a proper curry, look no further. We will be back!

Today is my wife’s Birthday that is why we went this restaurant.
Wow wonderful Service I really like that. Mr. Jeel the boy who work at front really so hospitable.
The Main problem is their Menu. Menu is to big. Me and my wife was really confused about the menu what to chose. Mr. Jeel help us to chose the food. I think he know many thing about their food and food test. I told him that I like some unique test than he told me to try King of chicken, It was really so testy. Than Mr. Jeel suggest my wife an Indian curry named Prawn Malai curry. She told me it was so testy. She never try this kind of food but today she was so happy to eat that.
Specially many many thanks to Mr. Jeel for choose the right food for us and also thanks to Chef for made this wonderful food for us.
Them make my day.

This was one of our best Thai meal we have had to date.
The service was great by the pleasant Mr Biren, who was very kind and polite. My family really enjoyed the meal especially the cashew nut chicken and lamb penang. Excellent service and highly recommended.

We experienced great service here. The man who looked after us was extremely helpful, and on our request, happily organised a dish of salad/cooked carrot for our daughter to go alongside her butter chicken… (so she didn’t end up with no veges). Nice one!
Hubby really loved his Thai dish: ‘Cashew Nuts Chicken’. Especially he said the sauce was delicious.
I very much enjoyed my ‘Special Paneer Masala’, especially with the addition of my daughter’s left over veg/salad.
We really liked that one of us could have Thai, while the others had Indian.
Parking was another really good feature about this place – we parked right outside (it’s free with the pay and display ticket from the machine).
Just two points for improvement – one was that the till printer for gst receipts was broken tonight – though a hand-written one is ok, but takes too long :).
Secondly, one slightly greasy-looking spoon, which was replaced very promptly with apology.
In summary, all credit to the manners of the host. He was relaxed and friendly, yet really polite and efficient, without ever being overbearing. Big ups to this place. We liked it a lot.

I had a wonderful night at Spice Garden on 6th of Jan.. with my partner.. Everything was above expectation.. Fantastic food .. lovely service, however, interior of restaurant was not very special.. but it doesn’t bother if you are having nice food with great service… I still can remember the taste of King of Chicken Wow! was devine .. YUUMMM!!.. My fussy partner amazed me.. she enjoyed everything however Spiced sour Prawn impressed her most.
I really felt I got good value for what I paid.. See you soon guys.. Once again thanks for making our night a memorable one.. xxx

I normally do not place negative feedback but this restaurant is definitely an exception.
Used a voucher claiming it offered more than 50 percent discount, turned out the quantity of the food we ordered also gave a huge reduction. We ordered lamb chops which was told sold out and given lamb kebab instead, I am not kidding, only 4 pieces of small dices of lamb!!! Shockingly unbelievable!!! Seafood curry we ordered was full of crab sticks.
The taste is very average as well.
I do not think it is genuine business practice, when you claim you offer discount, the food quantity should remain the same. Otherwise, how come you offer any discounts?

We went to this restaurant on 18 Nov 2012.
Must say I was very disappointed.
We had a voucher which allowed us 2 starters and 2 mains and we could go up to $70 with the vouchers.
we had paneer and the Thai king prawn for starters.. well for a starter which is around $11-12 the portion is so tiny, all you get is 3 prawns.. (not king prawn by the way.. the size is smaller)
well, it wont stop here, our orders are messed up.. we ordered prawn cashew nuts and get chicken one.. its exchanged after we complain but we have to wait for 15 – 20 minutes more..
the second main my partner ordered was the Albany Delight which according to the menu card must have all the good and yum seafood like tiger prawns, scallops, tarakihi fish fillets squids and mussels … and I was annoyingly surprised to get a dish with fish, 2 small prawns and the rest of the plate is crab sticks..
well, very annoying, called the waiter, complained they tried to get me settled with the crab sticks and I keep insisting that that’s not what the menu says and I refused to be served crab sticks instead of what I ordered..
so the waiter was good enough to offer me to choose any other dish without surcharge..
but I had to wait for about half an hour to get the other dish,, by the time we are tired of waiting and in terrible mood,
we just had to take the long waited dish take away not really bearing to sit there..
but we really appreciated the waiter’s genuine effort to keep us calm and trying to make things better.. the two stars are only for him
food wise.. starters portions alarmingly small for the price, in general food taste is low average, way too long waiting time, especially when the place wasn’t busy at all,, just a few customers were there..
sum= not ever going back, not recommending it to any friends
the only good thing I can say,, appreciated waiter’s effort to keep customers as happy as he could.. (I wasn’t only one complaining around )

Whilst the food was good, and the Dahl especially was very tasty, the entree portion sizes were quite poor given the price. I don’t know if this was because our group was there on a deal voucher, but the entree portions were about half the size of most Indian restaurants we go to, but for the same price.
The service was also a little lacking. Some people in our group wanted a dessert, but after waiting over 20 mins with no service from either waitress (and the place wasn’t exactly crowded!), we gave up. Lost sale to the restaurant.
Other than that, a generally pleasant dining experience.

Excellent, can’t really think of anything which we could have expected more…the service was exceptional the people there were very welcoming and hospitable and this was just the beginning. we knew we had found a little gem and it got even better once the food arrived. The entrees were delicious and presented well and the mains were delicious as well. Will definitely come back

I went to Spice Garden on Thur 5/9/13. When I called to make the booking for 6.30pm the staff said they were fully booked. Didn’t make any recommendations or suggestions so I probed a bit more and she said they could fit us in at 6pm. She sounded sleepy on the phone and kept repeating the info.
Got there at 6pm with my partner and the place was empty apart from 1 table with just 3 people eating.
We had a deal voucher which included 2 entree, 2 mains. The entrees were good, we got the paneer (cheese) dish and a platter. Smoked chicken was nice but the downfall is that they could have made sure that there was 2 of everything on the platter, especially as often people dining would eat in pairs and for what the platter is priced at. There were 2 things on there where there was only 1 of each on it.
Once finished our entrees, we stacked them and put them to the side for the waitress to take them away (she may of been the same person on the phone). She came up to ask and said “Can I take your plates away?” even though it was so obvious.
Mains we got a butter chicken and I got a seafood thai curry. The butter chicken was waayyy too sweet, I had one spoonful and couldn’t eat any more. My seafood thai curry was OK, nothing special. I asked to take away as i didn’t feel like eating it all. after waiting for over 10 minutes I asked the staff if the takeaway was ready and she says “O yea just go up to the counter” Thanks for telling us lady!
I got charged an extra $5 for the seafood curry as seafood mains weren’t part of the voucher deal which is fine, and I told the person at the counter of what we thought of the food so maybe they will change this, particularly the butter chicken.
Oh and by the time we left around 7.15pm, the place was only 1/2 full so I have no idea why they said they were fully booked.
I give them points on being clean and showing an A grade but otherwise service was below par as was food.

Some of the food was ok. But in all honesty, don’t say “dum biriyani”, when it’s not a biriyani.
It looks like the entire Indian Menu was copied from Paradise restaurant.
The Lamb kadai curry was average to say the least. And the fake biriyani was a curry/gravy mixed with rice & plenty of ghee
No Hyderabadis might like stuff. But it was honestly average to say the least.
You guys have a good idea for your restaurant. But if you want to improve, then please improve on the quality of the food & get a proper Cook.

Yes that’s right five stars for Spice Garden. I had a party with 50 people in this beautiful restaurant. From DJ’s to performances the restaurant accommodated everyone and the staff were amazing with all the little requests we made to ensure we had an amazing night.
The food was absolutely amazing right from the entrees to the mains to dessert. I would recommend anyone that wants to have a good night and enjoy elegant and scrumptious food.
I would definitely return and recommend anyone that is looking into having a function or just a dine out
Thanks team Spice Garden.

Their food is amazing! But their service is still improving. They have improved in this aspect greatly in the last few months. I am glad that my previous comments did not go unnoticed.
