Great local tapas restaurant! Food is always delicious and reasonably priced. Friendly service. Great to have somewhere so good in the neighbourhood. We have been here on several occasions – for a group dinner, a drink in the evening and a coffee in the weekend. Each visit was a pleasant experience and I will be going back again

Good local restaurant.
Good variety of dishes and drinks, good value, quick, helpful and very friendly service.
Highly recommended for both tapas and the main dishes.
We’ve now been back twice and will use this place for those quick snack visits and a drink and for family meal outings.

I am so glad you advertised in this week’s Central Leader. When I saw the advert with special Sunday night for children I hoped I had found great place to go to celebrate my birthday with my family, including a 5 year old boy and 3 year twin girls.
The children were greeted with colouring pages and pens and the drinks had two straws!! They had their own menu and chose meatballs and pizza. They loved it.
The adults had the steak, the pork ribs ( I can still taste them) and the seafood platter. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The service great.
Thank you so much for making my birthday dinner such an enjoyable night out. We will certainly be back and have already recommended Vecinos to friends.

Really thought the tapas was very poor. Calamari, prawns and potatoes not at all good. Arancini was good though. But aracini is not enough to make me return.

Went for dinner tonight, was very impressed with the tapas, staff were great. Food delicious atmosphere very nice overall a great night. Will definitely be going again. Thank you.

Fantastic! Food was excellent, ordered a 3 course meal. Beautiful entree, main and exquisite dessert! Very Friendly staff, very prompt and easy to approach and talk to. Will definately be coming again, thank you Vecino’s.

Popped in for tapas platters last evening, and was very impressed. Food was excellent. One criticism is there is no Spanish wine on the wine list. There is plenty of good Spanish wine imported into NZ. Why not add it, for a 100% Spanish experience?

17/9 Back again last week. Spanish wine available. Very nice. Food up to it’s usual high standard!

Thanks for the feedback Greg. We are in the process of changing the Menus and the Wine List and will definitely have some Spanish Wines featured on the new list.

Have been here a couple of times since it opened, and have not been disappointed. Great service, pleasant atmosphere and the tapas are great! I’m reluctant to post this review because this place is still so undiscovered you can get a table with no annoying children or other customers ruining your experience, but it’s really too good not to share.
So glad to have this place as my new local!
