We are a Property Management business that use the services of the Wooden Spoon Cafe for all of our cattering and quite often meet with clients at the premises. We have found the service, presentation and quality to be of high standard and would recommend their services to all other businesses and members of the public.

Love the place and the food but disappointed today when sweets were kept in cabinet and not delivered with our soup. In lunch hours perhaps all food ordered could be served. Strange to be told that we were meant to go up to the counter to ask for the rest and by 12.50 had to leave and take it with us. Waitress told us they were too busy to watch to see and also that they were still learning. Still would come back but not if a lunch hour is not long enough. Really not angry, just a bit embarrassed by the reaction of staff.

Thank you for your constructive feedback. We apologise that you felt embarrassed, it is usual that sweets (or coffees) be held if requested and we have found that customers have simply let us know when they are ready for any remaining items, this is clearly an area we need to improve on. We look forward to seeing you again.

I ate at The Wooden Spoon today with my family. The food was great – tasty and reasonably priced – and the service friendly and efficient. Most impressed with the sense of space. Heaps of room for our pram beside our table without feeling like everyone else had to squeeze past. Good focus too on kids meals. Will definitely be back.
