Pro: Nice atmosphere
Con: Smallest flat white ever, closes way too early
Well, size doesn’t always matter, but in this case, it was quite disappointing how tiny their flat white was. The pastry we had with it was nice, but not spectacular. Atmosphere is also nice, although outside it’s not ideal with the busy road and inside there was no space left. Staff could have been a bit friendlier, even when it’s busy. I find opening hours until 3pm even on the weekends not customer-friendly at all – should be at least till 4 or 5pm.

It’s just the flavour of the month. Had a brownie here disgusting hard flavourless what everyone in a brownie….NOT. The coffee was so so and the staff was unattentive unless your a regular or L.P “famous” Won’t go here again lots of other choices down Herne Bay like five loaves or the local BP station.

I have been here twice in the past month and I just can’t get enough. The food is so good, just writing about it is making me hungry. I have had the Black box piri piri chicken sausage open sandwich and the smoked salmon with lemon ricotta. Both excellent. I really like the fact you can choose to have single or double with the sandwiches. Coffees are also very good. I could not think of anything bad to say about this place. An absolute favourite

Very chic little cafe up Jervois Road. I decided to go having seen the menu complete with an uitsmijter (Dutch fried egg and ham open-sandwich). My family are from Holland so the link was nice but I must say the baking here is to die for, cakes and pastry beautifully presented on a bar that divides the cafe. The apple tart was so sublime I’ll be heading across town again soon

Always great especially the cheese omelette and coffee is consistently good. Interesting creative menu and I appreciate the minimal design.
Friendly neighborhood vibe and are more than accommodating for crying/wriggling babies! Great staff that seem to love their jobs…..the private dining room is great and should be used more.
Love.

Went for the first time last week. Lovely staff. My cake was awesome, unfortunately the sandwich was very bland/minimal and dare i say it-overpriced!!! for what it was. Did have some microgreens on it. A good neighbourhood cafe and nice french country interior design. Cool!
